Everybody loves dragons, and I’ve done a few over the years. This dragon is from my first coloring book, EQUINOX, and it is based on an earlier drawing (which I can’t seem to find at the moment…). It’s a tiny dragon that loves to light candles whenever he can.

I did a new version of the Birthday Dragon last year for a dragon book competition, which was in a square format. Sadly, he did not make it into the book, but I had fun trying new color choices.

Here’s another dragon I did a very long time ago, probably in the early 80’s. I did this at the same time as the original Birthday Dragon – one very small dragon and one very big. You can see that I’ve always liked decorative borders, I put them on almost every drawing I did in that time period.
